Life is what you make it...

It's been a while between postings due to the fact that I have been busy, busy, busy! Uni, work, house stuff it has been quite a full on week. We should be getting our keys this week (hopefully) and then we can commence painting asap, woo hoo I'm very excited. I feel as though there is so much to be done still, you don't realise how many little things there are to remember e.g. buying a letterbox, getting power turned on etc etc. At the moment we are deliberating what colour to paint the kitchen pantry cupboard door because at the moment it is white but our benchtop is black, we have red cupboards and the walls will be grey. Any ideas? We are heading up to Perth on the weekend on a mission to buy a TV, have a look in IKEA and hopefully purchase a dining suite. Thank god G and I have similar tastes otherwise it would all be a nightmare. We will be moved in by the 6th of October and it will be such a relief, although we will have a ton of work to do once we're in such as reticulation, landscaping, the patio and truly making our house a home. Also the last time G and I lived together it lasted about 5 minutes and we broke up!!! This time I doubt we will have any problems as we are a little wiser, a little older and a little more tolerant of one another. Judging by the pic (us @ my 18th) we've come along way! It is so scary yet exciting how we have all grown up and we are all doing grown up things, I'm sure there are some people out there who think we're crazy or boring because we haven't traveled or anything but I really wouldn't have it any other way...
