Hair Scare ha ha what a joke!!!

Ashleigh competed (a term I use very loosely) in the annual Hair Scare competition held at the 3 Donkeys over the weekend and what a disgrace it was. None of the judges were hairdressers, instead we had a florist, journalist, sales rep and some other follically challenged person. What on earth are these people going to know about hair? So many young girls put in their time, effort and money for this one night and quite frankly I wonder if they would ever bother again. I certainly would have been disheartened. The winner in the senior's section has been done to death, is unoriginal, messy, didn't use much hair and looked atrocious. Whilst the winner in the Junior's section was quite good, it lacked any real originality....peacock feathers have also been done to death. So to all the girls who competed well done all of you, I hope next year they find some credible judges who know what to look for.
