It's time to make a change!

With all the recent debate/interest in global warming and climate change I have made a conscience decision to do my bit for the environment. Here a few of things I am doing or have already done to help out.

-Turn most appliances off at the power point
-Leave the lights off at night time
-Invest in a standing lamp for the living area and use a low watt energy saving bulb
-Recycle, recycle, recycle
-Say no to plastic bags and use the mountain of green bags stuffed at the bottom of my pantry
-Shower once a day and make it quick
-Buy products which are better for the environment and our waterways eg. Earth Choice

If anyone has anymore suggestions then please let me know and to all those global warming skeptics out there, even if it doesn't exist what's wrong with making the world a cleaner, better place to live? Also you would have to be living under a rock to not have noticed the randomness of the weather here in Australia over the past few years! Tornadoes in Bunbury, droughts in Sydney, sweltering heat in Adelaide, today it's raining and a mere 24 degrees yet Monday they forecast 38 degrees! There was even a heat wave in London last year! Clearly something just isn't right.
