Books, books and more books...
I love to read and it has occurred to me that I don't read as much for pleasure as I use to. (Although in the past 2 weeks I have managed to read 2 novels, one of which was for uni) So a couple of hours ago I made my way over to the Eaton Community library where I proceeded to loan 5 books out ranging from the biography of Indira Ghandi to a Gothic novel in the tone of Bram Stoker's Dracula. Whilst my choices may be diverse it is because after so many years of reading I still have no idea what my favorite genre is nor do I have a favorite author! For the most part I tend to read bios, I am huge fan of Harry Potter yet am not a fan of fantasy, I like to read tales about your average person and I have been known to read the odd romance novel. As a student of media and writing I think it's high time that I sort this problem out. I have also come up with an idea to review whatever books I am reading via my blog and thought it would be cool if fellow bloggers did the same, I will be starting off with the novel 'Life of Pi' by Yann Martel as soon as I have finished it. Wish me luck on my quest for literary fulfillment.
